Reinvented Toilet (RT) is an integrated Single Unit Toilet (SU-RT) utilizing a low-cost vacuum flush frontend, a water recycling module, and solid and liquid waste treatment modules. 

It has been developed to be an appropriate addition to existing bathrooms in the target areas, tailored towards the demands of a household of 5 people with a surge capacity for 10 people.

Accommodating comfort and user experience were priorities for the development of this system, centering not only aesthetic appeal of the exterior and a compact size, but also making the interface intuitive enough to “flush and forget”. The toilet should function as an aspirational part of the home while remaining resource-efficient and self-reliant.

The RT modules have minimal power requirements and water consumption is 94% lower than conventional vacuum toilets, which makes the system ideally suited for water-scarce regions. Due to the modules being functional independently from another, product configuration can be tailored specifically for different markets. Performance of the key components have all been independently tested with human waste and had their functionality validated to ensure hygienic and mechanical standards. The design of the frontend is based on a decade of experience in developing and reinvented toilets.
